About

I want to help people, that might sound cliche but it’s the honest truth. I firmly believe that design makes our lives better and brighter, especially through the little things that most often go unnoticed. So that’s my goal, for right now and for the long run, to use my skills to do what I can for others.

question:

There are many parts to the design process, which is your bread & butter and which is the bane of your existence?

I love the research...like to the point of going overboard with it. Once I get sucked into something that I find to be interesting I have a hard time stopping, I just keep digging and digging. On the other hand, I hate naming things. I’m not sure why I dread it so much, but I do. No matter the project that part never seems to go very smoothly...

question:

Biggest design pet peeve?

Default typefaces make me sad. Calibri, Arial, and Times New Roman could all disappear tomorrow and I would rejoice. Not only are they boring, they just seem to suck the life out of the words on the page.

question:

If you could go back in time, what would you tell freshman you?

For the sake of all that is holy, please stop wearing cargo shorts. They are not fashionable, no matter how much you want them to be.
