About

Design is a powerful tool with the ability to dramatically alter an organization's influence and public perception. As a graphic designer, I am deeply passionate about channeling my creative skill-set to empower non-profits, educational programs, and ministries. Throughout my design career, I've received the opportunity to work with the orphan-care system in Mexico, a reproductive health center in North Carolina, and a historically-black university in South Carolina. At its core, graphic design is visual storytelling, and it's my mission to tell the stories of organizations transforming communities on local, national, and/or global levels.

question:

Current typeface crush?

Europa. (I hate to break it to you Futura...I really, really like you as a font, but I think we're better off as friends.)

question:

Do you have any particular feelings or thoughts on specialization vs generalization?

It's important to challenge yourself as a designer by facing projects outside of your comfort zone. That being said, focus on what you are truly passionate about - whether it is the infinitesimally niche or ulta-broad. There are legitimate needs in both categories, and the right job will come your way in due time.

question:

What's your first response when Adobe crashes?

Hmm, I think Jesus is trying to tell me to go to bed now. *falls asleep immediately*
